What cookies and local storage are
A cookie is a small file that a site saves in your browser and that the browser sends back on later visits. Local storage, known as localStorage, works in a similar way, with the difference that the information stays in the browser and is not sent to the server automatically.
The site sets no cookies, neither its own nor any other company's, and loads no analytics or advertising tools. It uses local storage only, to the extent described below.
What the site saves
A single local storage entry remembers the theme chosen for displaying the site, light, dark or the one set by your system, so that the site looks the same on your next visit. It is saved only if you change the theme.
The entry holds no data about you, does not track the pages you visit and is not sent to the server or to anyone else.
The map on the contact page
The map is a picture hosted on the site's own server, drawn from OpenStreetMap. It sets no cookies and sends nothing to other companies.
The “Open in Google Maps” button takes you, in a new tab, to Google's site. Google's cookie and privacy policy (policies.google.com) applies there, not this one.
How to control the data in your browser
Every browser lets you see, block or delete the cookies and data a site has saved, from its privacy settings. You can do this at any time, without telling us.
If you delete this site's data, only the theme preference disappears, and the site goes back to your system's theme.
