About this site
The site is run by the Mediator's Office “Țurcan Dragoș”, with its seat in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova. Its purpose is to explain what mediation is, how a mediation procedure is conducted and how the office can be contacted.
We take care that the information published is correct and up to date. Legislation can change, and some time may pass between a change and the updating of the page.
General information, not legal assistance
The texts on this site are general information. They do not constitute legal advice and cannot replace the analysis of a concrete situation by a specialist.
The mediator is not a lawyer, does not represent either party and does not provide legal assistance. If you need an opinion about your rights in a dispute, consult a lawyer.
What using the site does not create
Visiting the site or sending a message through the form does not create a mediation relationship between you and the office and does not oblige the office to take on the case.
Mediation begins only after the informative session and after the mediation contract has been signed by all the parties and by the mediator. Until then, please do not send us documents or confidential information about the dispute.
How you may use the site
You may read, print and share the pages of this site for personal or informational purposes, without altering their content.
It is not permitted to use the site in order to disrupt its operation, to collect data automatically, to send unsolicited commercial messages through the form or for any action contrary to the law.

The texts, the images, the graphic mark and the structure of this site belong to the mediation office or are used with the agreement of the rights holders.
You may quote short extracts, indicating the source and linking to the original page. Reproducing a whole page or using the materials for commercial purposes requires the written agreement of the office.
External links and availability
The site may contain links to pages run by other people, such as the site of the Mediation Council of the Republic of Moldova. We do not control the content of those pages and are not answerable for it.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the site available and free of errors, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. We are not answerable for decisions taken solely on the basis of the general information published here, without a discussion about your own concrete situation.
Applicable law and changes to these terms
These terms are subject to the legislation of the Republic of Moldova. Any disagreements about the use of the site we will settle, preferably, through direct dialogue or through mediation, and if that is not possible, through the competent courts of the Republic of Moldova.
We may change these terms when the site or the legal framework changes. The applicable version is the one published on this page at the date shown by the note about the last update.
